1. Avoid, keeping all your jewellery alltogether in a single box, as hard stones like diamond can give scratches to all other delicate jewellery. Instead wrap each peice of jewellery seperately. Get a jewelry box and/or wrap each piece of jewelry with paper, velvet or silk.

2. Try not to throw, the original box of the jewellery because jewellery is always very safe in it as the box is specially made for particular jewellery.

3. Try to keep the jewellery back in the box recently after use . It definately increases the life of and shine of your stuff.

4. Avoid wearing your precious jewellery while you are swimming as the chlorine in the water will discolor your jewellery especially silver. Also while gardening, washing dishes, laundry we should avoid jewellery etc.

5. After every six or seven months jewellery should be cleaned with mild soapy water and soft used brush. Before cleaning jewelry make sure the stones are not loose as while, cleaning you don’t want them coming out.

6. Ultrasonic cleaners are not recommended as the vibrations they make can enlarge inclusions and make them more noticeable.

7. To help prevent damage to your jewelry, don’t put them on until you have your makeup, hairspray, perfume or anything else on. The stuff that is in these products could harm your jewelry. Put bracelets on your opposite hand if your right or left handed. Less wear may occur because it’s not the main hand used.

8. Dont trust anyone new for the cleaning of your jewellery always do it from any well known shop or person. If shipping your jewelry to be cleaned or repaired use a shipper that has tracking and get it insured.

9. Always take the picture of your jewellery before giving it for any cleaning, as you can claim the concerned person in case of damage or chipping.

10. Pricing for cleaning will vary by type of jewelry and the place you take it too. If you recently bought jewelry from a store they might clean and inspect it for free on an annual basis or something like that. So, always check for this option.

The use in jewelry and decor began its rise in Europe in the 18th century however it was not obtainable to those who were not royalty or extremely wealthy. In 1930's during the time of the great depression and WWII platinum became a controlled substance therefore its use in jewelry making was almost unheard of.

It has only been in the last ten years that platinum has made a real resurgence. This metal has gained popularity in recent years among the general population however the price makes it an unrealistic choice for most of us. A platinum ring generally costs double the amount of its white gold counterpart therefore it still viewed by many as a symbol of wealth and status.
Platinum is a white metal that is appreciated for not only its beauty but its strength and long wear ability. This is one of reasons many skilled jewelers especially those making high end items like to use platinum prongs in order to set diamonds and gems in their pieces. It is also a desirable choice because it does not oxidize and is hypoallergenic. Another characteristic that makes platinum stand out from the competition is that when it does sustain a scratch this will not cause further damage to your ring, where as if a gold ring is scratched the gold will continue to breakdown in that area.

Unlike gold, high quality platinum has a purity of 95% and is often alloyed with metals such as titanium, copper, rhodium, palladium, iridium, osmium, and ruthenium. Platinum is rated by a 1000 count, with platinum of 950 parts per thousand being used to make high quality jewelry. It is recommended that if you are going to pay the money for a quality platinum piece that you do not buy anything below 850 parts per 1000. Bahan : * 150 g daging sapi * 50 g bayam * 50 g soun * 50 g daun bawang * 100g tahu putih * 50 g jamur kuping * 50 g rebung * saus sukiyaki ........................................Cara Membuat : * Daging sapi dipotong tipis। Bayam dibersihkan, soun disiram air panas। Daun bawang dipotong miring, rebung dipotong tipis। Jamur kuping direndam air hangat। Tahu putih digongso dengan minyak sedikit (agar tidak hancur)। * Saus Sukiyaki: o 1/5 liter kikkoman shoyu o 1/2 liter mirin o 1 sm gula pasir o 5 g penyedap o 1 sloki sake Semua dicampur dan didihkan, tapi jangan terlalu lama। agar tidak gosong। * Panaskan pan dengan sedikit mentega (lemak sapi lebih baik)। Masukkan sedikit demi sedikit sayuran diatasnya (bergantian dengan daging sapi) lalu siram dengan sausnya (sedikit demi sedikit)। Jika telah masak dapat langsunग dinikmati.
